M.A. in Psychological Sciences

The Master’s degree program in Psychological Sciences is designed to prepare the students for an academic career by providing a basis for continued advanced studies. The program offers a specialization in Neuroscience, Cognitive Psychology, Developmental Psychology, and Social Psychology. The program in Psychological Sciences is for two years: in the first year, the students are expected to complete all the course requirements (28 credits), and in the second year to prepare a thesis based on original research.

Area I, II & III courses can be any graduate course with a 5xx code from the list. (Note: One of the 3 area electives will be your core area course, hence, each student will be taking two out-of-core PSY 5xx electives.)

These three “Elective in Area I/II/III” courses should belong to different sub-specializations and be listed in one of the four categories below.
