PhD in Psychological Sciences

 

The Ph.D. program in Psychological Sciences is a research intensive program in which students are expected to gain expertise in a particular sub-field (cognitive, developmental, psychobiology/neuroscience, social) while acquiring a general breadth in psychological sciences. Students are expected to complete 7 courses over a maximum of 2 years, and upon passing the qualifications, they are expected to carry out dissertation related research. The 7 course requirements include a Ph.D. level seminar, completion of first and second year projects (4 courses), and two graduate seminars.  There are some funding opportunities available.
